Our sustainability initiatives allow us to provide work environments that are not only pleasant and productive, but environmentally responsible.

Some of BPG’s current and planned sustainable development initiatives and practices include:

• Introduction of “green cleaning” practices and environmentally preferred janitorial supplies.
• Implementation of intelligent building systems to conserve energy and water, reduce landfill waste, and encourage recycling.
• Introduction of construction and renovation practices, requiring paint and carpet to contain low volatile organic compounds to protect building air quality.
• Replacement and upgrade programs for energy efficient light bulbs and fixtures and water-conserving fixtures.
• Landscape replacement programs that use only native or adapted drought-resistant vegetation to conserve water and promote bio-diversity.
• Installation of bike racks and preferential parking spaces for low-emission, fuel-efficient vehicles to encourage use of alternative, eco-friendly transportation.
• Interaction with tenants to provide education, enlist support, and encourage adoption of eco-sensitive activities and practices.
• Collaboration with all vendors to ensure that environmentally sensitive practices and procedures are implemented.
